Caring for lettuce

Lettuce is a leafy vegetable that can be grown in different varieties, such as leaf , romaine, head, and butterhead, each with it's own shape, size and , flavor.
The seeds are quite small and require a planting depth of a 1/4 to 1/2 inch deep. When sowing seeds directly into the soil, you should plant approximately 10 seeds per foot. Space your rows 12 to 18 inches apart. Thin leaf lettuce seedlings to 4 inches apart. Romaine and butterhead seedlings require 6 to 8 inches between each plant.
Lettuce watering should be light, frequent and consistent. Keep the soil moist. Avoid overwatering which can make roots rot and attract disease.

The images above speak to an age old question. Why do people cheat in relationships?
The straight answer is , we do not know. What we know from doing some research is that this behavior has been going on for a long time in societies where monogamy was the common practice.
"Why do men cheat?" used to be a popular narrative. However, with the advent of DNA, some people are rethinking this once popular question. In the past, it seemed like a mystery that men could never be satisfied with their partners and had to seek someone else to satisfy them. With more women entering the workplace and having to interact with more men, maybe that mystery is dying.
Cheating can be mentally draining, upset families in many ways, and affect some people more than others.

Tuning in to a radio station in 2006 provided the listener with a wide selection of tunes to plug into. Yes, there was Justin Timberlake with "Sexy Back", "So Sick", by Ne-Yo, "Rehab", Amy Winehouse, "Unfaithful", Rihanna, and so on. But there was a refreshing sound that certainly stood out among the cuisine of pop hits. This sound was strikingly different. After hearing it for first time, you're like - wait can't they play that song again, now? You're disappointed until you hear it again and you're glued to your radio, regardless of where you were or what you were doing. You're struck. Yes, it's crazy. I mean really crazy. The beat, the voice, the arrangements, the lyrics. Crazy, yet captivating.
This song peaked at number two on the Billboard Hot 100 and topped the charts in the UK, Canada, Ireland, New Zealand and several countries. Here, CeeLo Green teams up with Danger Mouse under the name Gnarls Barkley.

March 18 was a special day for Queen Latifah. On that day, this actress, and singer celebrated her 53rd birthday. We hope your celebration was the one you wanted.

Welcoming her 54th birthday in splash. Singer and songwriter Maria Carey took a splash off her yacht to celebrate her special day on March 27. Must have heard sweet music down there.

How about being among the first to celebrate their birthdays in March? Yep, Justin Bieber was born on March 1. This Canadian singer celebrated his 29th birthday. Seems as if you've been around much longer .Belated birthday greeting from your many fans.

Ethiopia

Ethiopia is the 10th largest country in Africa, covering 439, 580 sq miles, located in the Horn of Africa.
It population is about 61 million people with over 80 different ethnic backgrounds.
Amharic was the most popular language in use for over 150 years. That has now been replaced by English, and French is taught in secondary schools.
Ethiopia has a GDP of $272 billion. It's recent growth rate stayed at about 6.1% enjoying the status of one of the faster growing economies in Africa. Agriculture, forestry and fishing account for a sizable portion of it's economic engine.

Women's Heart Attacks Differ from Men

Heart disease is the number one killer for both men and women in the United States. However, there are some key differences in how it develops, presents, and is addressed between the sexes.
Heart disease has a major impact on many women's lives, but awareness of it has typically focused more on men than women.
Women have smaller hearts and smaller blood vessels. This difference is significant because sometimes smaller vessels don't show up well on an angiogram - a picture taken from the blood vessel of the heart- so signs of blockage can be missed in some women.
Heart disease in women tend to develop more in the smaller blood vessels of the heart instead in the larger coronary arteries.
Female reproductive health history and heart disease are closely related.
Women with endometriosis were found to be three times more likely to develop some form of heart disease than women without it.
Pregnant women who develop gestational diabetes or preeclampsia, a complication of pregnancy that causes high blood pressure and places stress on the organs, may also have increased risk of heart attacks.
Many of the "classic' heart attack symptoms- like crushing chest pain- are based on research done on men. Women may also experience chest pain- but may also have flu-like symptoms, including:
*Nausea
*Vomiting
*Dizziness
*Shortness of breath
Unfortunately, almost two-thirds of women who die suddenly of heart disease had no prior symptoms.
The cardiac troponin test is a common tool used to determine if a heart attack has occurred. This test measures the levels of troponin- a protein that indicates the presence of damaged heart muscle -in the blood. Women need a lower level of troponin in the blood to indicate a heart attack.
Women may also need a different approach to treatment to get the best outcomes compared to men. For example, women have higher mortality rates for coronary artery bypass surgery.
Some suggestions to combat coronary heart disease include better food choices in favor of lean protein , whole grains, fruits, and vegetables. Regular exercise, control of moods, and meditation can also be helpful.
