We imagine that because of that person's success everything in his or her life should be fine- only to learn that's not the case.
One of Aseop fables may help us to put things into perspective. The story is told about a king who became tired of the complaints made constantly by his subjects.So, he told everyone to bring his cross and place it in the courtyard of the place. Each person fetched his cross and placed it for the king to see. When they were done, the king asked everyone to inspect the cross of all the people who had laid theirs. Later the king asked his subjects if they would exchange their cross for anyone they had seen. Each subject picked up his cross and left.
