A study of the human species can pose some complex questions and lingering doubts. The foregoing statement of itself can kerfuffle most of us seeking simple explanations to things we try to understand.
One of the perennial questions is, why is there so much conflict among families, groups, and nations? I'll admit,I don't know. This leads to the second question. Are we really complex psychology beings, or, are our socialization processes the more determinant factors that inform our behavior.
Througout the years attempts have been made by sociologists, psychologist and other social scientists to explain the phenomenon of human "differences". However, if we were to take a close and honest look, lots of it is caused by an unwillingness on our part to see or allow for the other person's point of view. This is not to say that we do not allow ourselves to be taught or schooled by those who are qualified in a particular field or discipline. This question is directed more to our cultural values. I believe if we have a more open mind and interact more with those of different upbrinings we might be surprised how much we have in common.
