The medical profession has got its hand full in trying to find remedies for a plethora of ailments that afflict people in every society in the world. Researchers are feverishly working to find cure for the different kinds of cancers , heart diseases, and even those that are categorized as rare conditions.

Malaria is a disease that have afflicted people from mostly tropical countries. A simple bite from a mosquito which carried the disease is enough to make someone seriously ill for extended periods, and often resulting in their deaths.
After during extensive research, scientists were able to come up with several types of drugs to fight this disease. At on stage researchers in the UK just last year had found a compound that stops the disease by administering it over a period of time.
Today the doctors are reporting that the drug combination has failed. This has now led the researchers in to doing more research as to why some strains of malaria are drug resistant.
