The VANVILTS is an affluent family that is made up of Mr. Charles Vanvilt,his wife Sherry and their two teenage children, Kim and Johnny. Mr. Vanvilt is 45 years old and his wife is 42. Kim is 18 and Johnny is 16. Charles Vanvilt heads a law firm-Vanvilt&Ross LLP. Sherry Vanvilt is a CEO at BankorsLtd.-a retail chain in Coculade, Texas. The family reside in Coculade and have a maid 56 year old Stella. The home has five bedrooms, a media room and a mini office.
Charles Vanvilt eased his six-foot frame from the couple's bed as the Saturday morning Summer's sun was beginning to beam through the cracks in the venetian blinds. His wife, Sherry lay asleep , her feet in a crumpled position with her head almost pressing against the huge nightstand.Charles turned on the small radio at the bedside, Sherry changed her position slightly. Her husband observing her movements lowered the volume of the receiving set and hurried to the bathroom. The bedroom was spacious even though four large mirrors , sitting on the floor at different angles complemented two six by six chest of drawers and a large television.
It was now 7am. and Charles felt hungry. He sauntered to the kitchen and grabbed some fruits placed in in a bowl and munched.Suddenly, ther was loud music emanating from Johnny's room. His father listened for a while but, found the pulsating rhythm and apparant rhetorical singing a little more than he could handle. "Turn down that crap," he barked. The music continued.Charles Vanvilt was now more furious. He rushed to Johnny's room, found the music player, switched it off and went back to the kitchen without saying another word.
Kim sheepishly emerged from her room, made her way to her father and greeted him with a faint," good morning Daddy." Mr. Vanvilt muttered an acknowledgement to her greeting. In the meanwhile Sherry Vanvilt was still asleep.
