Born Helen Folasade Adu but professionally known as Sade (Shah-day) this Nigerian -born British singer hit the music scene with a new sound in the 80s. To categorize her blend would not be spot on. What is without a doubt is her classy presentation on every song she has given us. That contralto voice morphs so beautifully with her backing instrumentalists. That haunting saxophone, rhythmic tap on the drums, feel good riff on the guitar and you are on you your way to a beautiful journey.
