In our continued observance of Black History Month we would like to share a brief history of the accomplishments of two Black Americans
1.George Washington Carver.

.Carver was born a slave in Diamond, Missouri in the 1860s. His exact date of birth is unknown. What is true about him however, is that he was an American agricultural scientists.He promoted alternative crops to cotton.and methods to prevent soil depletion. This scientist developed hundreds of products using the peanut, sweet potatoes and soybeans 
2 John H. Johnson

Johnson was born in Arkansas - the grandson of slaves. He was a businessman and is regarded as the most influential African American publisher in African American history. He became the most successful publisher of African American interest via Ebony and Jet magazines and book publishing. His publishing company employed over 2,600 people and amassing sales of over $388,000,000 This entrepreneur also owned Fashion Fair Cosmetics-the world's number one makeup and skin care company for women of color.
