1. For all their roaring, growling, and ferociousness, LIONS are family animals and truly social in their own communities. They usually live in groups of 15 or more animals called pride. Prides can be as small as 3or large as 40 animals. In pride lions hunt prey, raise cubs and defend their territory together. In pride the females do most of the hunting and cub rearing.
2. Green sea turtles are the world's largest species of hard-shelled sea turtles. Most weigh about 300 to 400 pounds. Some have been known to weigh as much as 440 pounds. These turtles are found nestling as the coastline of more than 80 countries around the world. The largest population is found in Costa Rica and Australia.
