Hungary has a similar styled celebration like the Poles. The difference is that theirs add a bit of romanticism. Young men would visit the homes of young women they like, on Easter Monday and recite a poem or sing to them a song before spraying them with perfume or water. In exchange women would gift them painted Easter Eggs.

In Guyana, regardless of religious practices, everyone packs their picnic baskets and head out into an open space  on Easter Monday ( a national holiday) with their families and spend the day flying kites of all descriptions.
It is believed that though kites were invented in China, kite flying started spreading to Europe, compliments of Marco Polo. With the European presence in North and South America, kite flying soon caught on. Some believe that your sins go up with the kites.
