PANCREATIC PROBLEMS
The pancreas is a fairly large sized gland positioned deep in the belly. It's main function is to activate digestive enzymes that assist in food digestion. Therefore, it makes up an indispensible part of the digestive system and plays a pivotal role in regulating blood glucose levels.
This organ can malfunction when it becomes inflamed resulting in a condition  called pancreatitis.Enzymes that aid in digestion system are stimulated before they are released into the small intestine. When released, enzymes start assulting the pancreas. This activates swift inflammation that lasts for a short time resulting in serious pain.
Chronic pancreatitis , on the other hand, is longer lasting resulting in more inflammation build up.
Some symptoms of pancreatitis are:
.*Upper abdominal pain lasting a few hours to a few days.
*Abdominal pain radiating to the back, aggravated after having a meal, especially, food high in fat. Gallstones are leading causes of pancreatitis- inflammation is formed when too much cholesterol is in an individual"s bile.
*Swollen and tender abdomen and bloating.
*Neasuea- unsettling sensation felt in stomach
*Dehydration
*Fever
*Rapid heart rate.
*Weight loss
*Foul smelling stool. (Daily Natural)
