We continue our look at strange illnesses         PROGERIA.
This condition is described as a progressive genetic disorder and afflicts about 1,000 people a year in the United States.
A report coming out of the Mayo clinic of April, 2017  says that Progeria is also known as Hutchinson-Gilford syndrome.  This disease cause children to age rapidly, starting in the first two years of life.
At birth children with Progeria generally appear normal. Signs and symptoms of this degenerative disorder starts to show at about the child's first year.  Slow growth and hair loss are common indicators. Other symptoms include, narrowed face, small lower jaw, thin lips, and beaked nose.
Some victims also have:prominent eyes, visible veins and high-pictched voices.
Ther are no known cure for Progeria
