SOME  THINGS THAT CAN WEAKEN OUR IMMUNE SYSTEM.
​Living with a weakened immune system is a recipe  form all kinds of discomfort and even serious ill health. Health scientists have from time to time reminded us our our need to safeguard our health by among other things keeping our immune system in the best shape . Some of the recommendations are as follows
*GETTING ENOUGH SLEEP
While there is some debate as to amount of sleep required by each individual, there is consensus that adequate sleep is essential to safeguard us from,  many infections.During sleep our bodies release cytokines, a protein that strengthens our immune system. Seven to eight hours per night is often recommended.
*CONTROLLING ANXIETY
Stress and worry aren't great germ fighters.
Constant stress makes it harder to fend off the flu, herpes, shingles and other viruses.
*ADEQUATE VITAMIN D
This vitamin helps to boost our immune system. Eggs, fatty fish, and fortified foods like milk and cereals are helpful.Also 5 - 15 minutes of sunlight, two to three times a week is essential.
*FRUITS ANS VEGGIES. 
These foods help our bodies to make more of the white blood cells needed to fight off infections. Fresh produce and nuts pack a lot of zinc, beta- carotene, vitamin A, C, and E.
*HIGH FAT DIETS 
Oils can hinder germ fighting white blood cells. A high fat diet can overtime upset the balance of bacteria in our gut,
