Spain.

Spain occupies most of the Iberian Peninsula, stretching south from the Pyrenees Mountain to the Strait of Gibraltar, which separates Spain from Africa. Spain's Capital is Madrid.
To the east lies the Mediterranean Sea, including Spain's Baltic Islands. Spain also rules two cities in North Africa and the Canary Islands in the Atlantic
With a population of just over 47 million, Spain has a diverse culture. There is no official religion. The Spanish Constitution of 1878 abolished the Roman Catholic Church as the official state religion. The state, however, does recognize the role religion plated in it's history.
A recent census found that 68.5% of the population identify as Catholics, 24.6% as non-believers, or atheist and 2.6% other religions (Islam, Buddhist, Protestant Christians, etc.)
Spanish is the main language spoken.
Span is the 14th largest economy in the world, and the 4th ranked in Europe.

Musical icon, Gladys Knight matured to 79 on May 28. Wow! We can hear your melodious voice singing in our ears. From one of your songs, you must be singing, " I've had my share of life's ups and downs, but fate's been kind, the downs have been few."

Seasoned actress, Candice Berman continues to charm with that winning smile she has worn over the years. And on May 8. she must have warmed the hearts of those who celebrated with her on her special day.

Years ago, it was more customary for people to wear tailored apparels.
Mass production replaced the one-in-one relationship with the tailor and client. Even though this is still something occurring, there is still that special feeling of wearing something that looks as if it were custom- made.

What is Permaculture Gardening?

Permaculture is a sustainable approach to the use of land, no matter it's size- permanent agriculture. You look at your yard with a different mindset. Unlike conventional industrial agriculture, permaculture is all about working with nature and collaborating with it instead of wrestling with it or working against it.
You need to be knowledgeable about nature. This means observing what's around you. Permaculture is not a one-size-fits-all cookie cutter method but adapted to a specific location, its climate, natural ecosystem, and topography.
Nature is a continuous cycle. Dead plants decompose and become the basis for new growth, Permaculture recreates this cycle. Instead of discarding garden waste and hauling it away, permaculture uses it and turns it into vital organic matter.
A permaculture garden does not serve a single purpose; it provides food for humans, as well as a habitat for wildlife. It is a place that is both productive and attractive, and designed with all seasons in mind. This type of garden also provides privacy and a place to relax, play, meditate, and exercise.

Signs You May Have Endometriosis

Endometriosis happens when tissue normally found in the uterus grows in other parts of the body. It may attach to the ovaries, fallopian tubes, the exterior of the uterus, the bowels, or other internal parts.
As hormones change during the menstrual cycle, this tissue breaks down and may cause pain around the time of your period resulting in long term painful adhesion or scar tissue.
More than 5.5 million American women have symptoms of endometriosis.
Symptoms
Pain just before, during, or after menstruation is the most common symptom. For some women, this pain may be disabling and may happen during or after sex, or during bowel movements or urination. It sometimes causes ongoing pain in the pelvis and lower back. Many women with endometriosis have mild or no symptoms. The symptoms may be related to the location of the growths.
Just Cramps or Endometriosis?
Most women have some mild pain with their menstrual periods. They may get relief from over -the-counter pain medications. If the pain lasts more than two days, keep you from doing normal activities, or remains after your period is over, tell your doctor.
Endometriosis and Teens
Endometriosis pain can begin with the first menstrual period. If your menstrual is strong enough to interfere with activities, you should consult your physician. The first step may be tracking the symptoms and taking pain medication, but ultimately the treatment options are the same for as for adults.
Endometriosis and Infertility
Sometimes the first - or only- symptom of endometriosis is trouble getting pregnant. Infertility affects about a third of women with the condition, for reasons that aren't well understood. Scarring may be to blame. The good news is that medical treatments can help someone overcome infertility, and pregnancy itself can relieve some symptoms of endometriosis.
Endometriosis or Fibroids?
Endometriosis is one cause of severe pain. But the pain can be caused by another condition, such as fibroids, which are noncancerous growths of the muscle tissue of the uterus Fibroids can cause severe cramps and heavier bleeding during your period. The pain of endometriosis or fibroids van also flare up at other times of the month.
Diagnosis: Pelvic Exam
A doctor will do a pelvic exam to check your ovaries, uterus, and cervix for anything unusual. An exam can sometimes reveal an ovarian cyst or internal scarring
that may be due to endometriosis. The doctor also looks for other pelvic conditions that could cause symptoms similar to endometriosis.

America's favorite bird at mealtime on Thanksgiving Day, the turkey, was once worshipped, 300 B.C as vessels of the gods by the Mayans.
They were symbols of power and prestige and had roles in religious rites. The turkey can be found everywhere in Mayan iconography and archaeology.

What the fork? Forks, the widely used eating utensils were once considered blasphemous.
They were first introduced in Italy in the 11th century. These instruments were seen as an offence to God.
And why do you ask? They were "artificial hands" and as such were considered artificial limbs.

The quality of this piece is brilliant.
Pompeii is famous because it was destroyed in 79 C.E. when a nearby volcano, Mount Vesuvius, erupted, covering it in at least 19 ft. of ash and other volcanic debris.
The now vast archaeological site, in Italy was once a thriving and sophisticated Roman city.
