Songwriter Bernie Taupin will be 71 on May, 22. This songwriter has written most of the songs sung by Elton John. This publication thinks that Taupin is the most talented lyricists in the modern era. Bernie's talent has netted him over $200m.

Actress Ebubennem Echikunwoke aka. Megalyn E.K will be 38 0n May 28. "Night School", "Damsels In Distress" and "" Vixen" are some of her credits.

Country Singer Brian McComas will be 49 on May 23.."You're In My Head" and "Baby Let Me Be Your Man" are two of his top hits.

Spicing Up Sex

This week we conclude our publication on sex positions

* 41 Snow-Angel Sex Position
For this position, have one person lie on their back. The other person will get on top with their head towards the other person's fee. The person at the bottom wraps their legs around the person on top while they're penetrated.

Think of this as 69 but standing up. It'll require some strength, but it's a fun one. The standing partner has to hold the other person while each give the other oral sex.

Mental Health Awareness Month

We've selected two images that would hopefully evoke more awareness of the nature of mental illness.

Mental health is coming to the fore as it seeks center stage as a serious threat to the lives of an increasing number of people. There is a debate as to the actual numbers who are affected, and also the rapidity or otherwise of its occurrence.
A brief look at history would inform us as to the state of the science at one period as compared to today. Many practitioners today believe that the many classifications of mental illnesses we have today , already existed centuries ago but were lumped into illnesses of the spirit or soul , and in some instances treated with scorn or death.
Now that we have evolved to a large extent, and are taking a more scientific approach to mental illness and wellness, here's what we found; mental health encompasses emotional, psychological, and social well being. It influences cognition, perception, and behavior. It also determines how an individual handles stress, interpersonal relationships, and decision making(Wikipedia)
Here are some statistics:
* One in five young people (age 13-18) has or will develop a mental illness in their lifetime.
*Youth depression rates has risen from 5.9% to 8.2% since 2012. Depression symptoms can impact performance in school and interfere with personal relational relationships.
*Most Americans lack access to adequate mental health treatment. 56% of American adults with mental illnesses did not receive care in the last year.
*Mental illnesses can affect people of any age, race, religion, or income. A mental illness is a medical condition that disrupts a person's thinking, feelings, mood, and ability to relate to others and daily function.
*Many factors contribute to the development of a mental health condition, including : trauma or history of abuse, biological factors, and family history of mental illness.
*Depression is the leading form of mental illness worldwide.
As a consequence of these facts, Mental Health Awareness Month has been observed in May in the United States since 1949.
With this awareness, we can begin to reach out to those individuals who may otherwise find it difficult to cope. The reality is, it could come knocking at anyone's front door.

It is very interesting that we as mortals are occasionally drawn to things that scare the hell out of us. While perplexing, we thought we should still delve into the mystery of attraction to the ghastly.

One writer posits that our attraction to horror is to experience stimulation. Exposure to to terrifying acts, or even the anticipation of these acts, can stimulate us - both mentally and physically - in opposing ways: negatively (in the form of fear or anxiety) or positively (in the form of excitement or joy). Another reason given is that we seek horror to gain novel experiences and live out alternative realities. So, Lets see how you fare with these "Did You Know/s"?

The Villisca Axe Murder House in Villisca, Iowa.

On June 10, 1912, Josiah and Sarah Moore were bludgeoned to death in this house. Their four children and two friends who were there were also murdered. To this date the crime is unsolved.
This home is considered one of the most haunted in the country. People are so drawn to it that some pay as much as $400. to stay for one night. To add to the mystery, visits had to be cut short because of children's voices, falling lamps, moving ladders and flying objects.
And to add to the horror, it is reported that a paranormal investigator , stabbed himself after spending the night. Phew!

A botched appendectomy at the turn of the centaury on a little girl seems to have awaken the wrath of ghosts in this building. Yes, spooky is the word to describe the vibes in this building. Flying objects, frequent apparitions, and a mix of scratching, gouging, and shoving directed at the male owner.
If you love a dare, you can book the house for a night - if you survive, for $100.

Bell Witch Farm, Adams, Tn

Do you rob your neighbor of a portion of land and get away with it? Doesn't seem so to me. Well, if you live long enough - and if you didn't, then your descendants might have to pay.
Kate Batts believed her neighbor, John Bell, cheated her of some land in the early 19th century. Mr. Bell didn't know what was coming. Miss Batts swore on her death bed that John Bell would be haunted forever. True to her word, the Bell family reported getting physical attacks, and heard chains dragging across the floor and eerie noises on the walls.
As if that were not enough torture, odd looking animals appeared on the Bell's farm - a dog with a rabbit's head .Look out! A time to run for your life and hide. But where? The ghost of Kate is everywhere.

Mother's Day

These are the many images seen at shopping centers and ultimately in millions of homes, here in the the US and other parts of the world. What these messages convey are the heartfelt gratitude that children, husbands, boyfriends, nieces, nephews and many others for that special woman.
The many responsibilities that are carried on the shoulders of our women as they navigate and attempt to steer the ship of motherhood. We acknowledge your sterling contributions to help make our lives a better one.
Thank you a million times. We love you- all mothers, which includes those who were surrogates and mothers in other settings. Cheers to you, great, awesome, and fantastic souls.

This group released a song - "Fantastic Voyage" that is arguably the hottest song to hit the funk scene, carving a niche for the band. Fantastic Voyage topped the R&B charts in 1980. It also made its way on the Billboard Hot 100.
What is undoubtedly the song's signature, is the bass rift played throughout this song. Here the bassist moves from thumb thumping to picking to snatching. What a riff!
Lyrically, the song take the listener/dancer on a musical cruise. Lyrical content- great. Let's take a look.
