Summer, the season of budding and blooming flowers. We just hoping that this spirit will help to lighten all of our hearts. One way in which we can do that is to look around us and see the thousand of things we can be thankful for.
We're alive -breathing and can smile, say a kind word to more people. Forgive the hurts. Move on and let the spirit of summer brighten our lives. No one can stay in a perennial state of laughter and high spirits. Challenges come and rock us or even knock us off our feet sometimes. But, in the midst of this, we can strive to still shine after we would have recovered from the jolt.

There is a reason why she is referred to as the "Songbird Supreme" An artist, who, since her grand entry in 1990 to world of musical fame, has not missed a step . In fact, Maria's five-octave vocal range, melismatic singing style, and signature use of the whistle register is unmatched by any artist in modern times.
One of the best selling music artist of all times with over 220 million record sales worldwide. Her songs have topped the Billboard Hot 100 charts 18 times and Ms. Carey is the highest certified female artist in the United States with 69.5 million certified albums.
Added to that, Maria has won Five Grammy Awards, nineteen World Music Awards, ten American Music Awards and fifteen Billboard Music Awards. She was inducted into into the Songwriters Hall of Fame this year. Yes, apart from being a singer extraordinaire, Maria is credited with being a great songwriter as well.
We'll look at one of her many great songs that she co-wrote and recorded at the remarkable young age of 18.
