We would need too many pages to give credit for the talent, the voice, the accolades that this genius of an entertainer has brought to the world of music. However, here is a brief attempt. An indication of Cole's virtuosity is evident of the genres he has been placed in- Traditional Pop, Swing, Vocal, Jazz, R&B, Early R&B, Vocal Jazz, Vocal Pop. Are you getting it. Mind you, Cole's vocal range did not touch the very high octave, but his velvety voice and his seat at the piano is mesmerizing.
During his time there was a high level of segregation but this artist was able to reach across ethnic lines quite easily, not because he forced it but hearing his voice turned heads and eyes and ears, and followers across racial lines. Operating in the 1940s and 50s was challenging but, Nat Cole became Nat King Cole. Phew!
To identify a song that we think is his best, is impossible. Every song that Cole sang has that scintillating sweetness, that uh, ah, indescribable, mellowness. Now that the Christmas season is on, be thrilled by his songs. When Paul McCarthy was asked on a show which Christmas song he thought was the best, he quickly responded," The Christmas Song", by Nat King Cole. In this article we have selected the song " Back In My Arms", released in 1957. Just three minutes of bliss. Here are the lyrics.

Model and television personality, Chrissy Teigen will be celebrating her 38th birthday on November 30. We are sure she would be serenaded by her other famous partner, John Legend. Whoo, lots of sweet music.

Popular American rapper and producer, Future, just rapped his way to his 40th birthday on November, 20. He must have had a splash.

Movie star, Annie Idibia , turned 39 on November 13. This Nigerian born and fast rising actress must have had a big celebration with her family and friends.

The Magic of Sweet Potatoes.

Like so many other foods that we consume, the choice is the key to good health. If we can recall some of the conversions that we might have had with our parents or grandparents when we suddenly became ill with a seemingly unexplained reason. We were often asked,"What did you eat?" Those were relevant questions.
In some circles in the health industry, more thought and research are given to the operations of our gut. Out of this emerged the phrase,"The gut is your second brain." So, we will look at a food choice that can certainly help to enhance our health - sweet potatoes.

*Antioxidants Aplenty
This root comes in various colors, orange ,white yellow, pink, and purple. The range brings different nutrients to the table. Purple -flesh sweet potatoes are thought to contain super -high levels of antioxidants and anti -inflammatory agents. As these substances pass through your system, they balance out free radicals -- chemicals that harm your cells.

* Vitamin A Victory
Just one medium baked sweet potato can give your body 160% of the recommended vitamin A needed to boost your eye and skin health.

* A Beta-Carotene Boost
Deep - orange sweet potatoes contain beta -carotene, an antioxidant thought to fend off illness. This might include certain cancers as well as eye disease.

The Bahamas

The Bahamas is a chain of islands in the North Atlantic Ocean, southeast of Florida, and , northeast of Cuba. Although The Bahamas does not border the Caribbean Sea, geographically it is often designated as a Caribbean nation.
It takes up an are of just, 13,880 sq km. with an population of 358,508 . People of African descent make up 90.6% followed by Whites with 4.7%, mixed with 2.1%, other 1.9% and unspecified at 0.7%.
Most of the population live in urban areas, with two -thirds living on Providence island where Nassau, the capital is located.
The official language is English with a bit of Creole spoken by Haitian immigrants. This country is the richest in the West Indies and is ranked 14th in North America for nominal GDP which currently stands at 12.425 billion USD. The main contributors to its economy are tourism and offshore banking.
